You can enter any SheROX Triathlon as an individual, or as part of a 2 or 3 person relay team.  All SheROX Triathlons will offer Open, Age-Group and Buddy Wave Divisions.  Additionally, SheROX Philadelphia will offer an Elite Division.

Relay Teams
Afraid of the swim?  Haven't ridden a bike since 5th grade?  Bad knees and can't run?  Participate as part of a relay team! Recruit one or two friends or family members to help you with the parts of the race that you'd rather not do.   Relay teams consist of two or three members.  For two-person teams, one person must do two of the legs.  For three-member teams, each person does one leg.  Form mother/daughter teams, teams with members of your book club, your old college roommates or other women you work with.  Or come up with your own team theme! All relay team members must register and sign the waiver.

Open Division
The Open Division is designed to enable fast amateur triathletes to start near the front of the race.  In Tempe and Charlotte, the Open Division will be the first wave.  In Philadelphia where there will also be an Elite Division, the Open Division will start two minutes after the Elite wave. 

In order to compete in the Open Division, you must provide:

• Proof of a top ten overall women’s finish a USAT sanctioned race in 2006, 2007 or 2008

If you participate in the Open Division, you will not be eligible for age-group awards.

Age Group Division
This is the division where most participants register.  Age groups are broken down into five-year increments.  Participants in the Age Group Division will start in waves with other participants in their age group, and will be eligible for Age Group awards.  The age group waves will start after the Open Division wave.

Buddy Wave Division
If you want to complete the race with another participant who is not in your age group (mom, sister, friend), the Buddy Wave is for you.  The Buddy Wave will be the last wave, and Buddy Wave participants will not be eligible for awards.

Elite Division
The SheROX Philadelphia Triathlon will include an Elite Division. Participants in the Elite Division will get to start in the Elite wave, which will be the first wave. In order to compete in the Elite Division, you must provide one of the following:

• Proof of USAT Elite membership
• Proof of professional status

If you participate in the Elite Division, you will not be eligible for age-group awards.
